Glenn Beck Tries To Smear Ron Paul

December 18, 2007

He obviously fears the power of Ron Paul and his movement, and is full of hatred too. After verging on a Uriah Heep mode, he actually accused Ron Paul supporters of death threats, and put Ron through a ridiculous, smear-intended inquisition on 9/11.

Some of Mr. Beck’s supporters advocate genocide against Arabs and Muslims, and the nuking of Mecca and Medina. Beck himself advocates aggressive war against Iran, that is, the mass murder of innocents, and has been a cheerleader for the aggression against Iraq. Mr. Beck even called for the use of state violence against Ron Paul donors, advocating their arrest as domestic terrorists. This is all OK, of course.

Many thousands of Ron Paul supporters protested this to Mr. Beck’s sponsors, thus his obsequiousness. But as a warmonger and torture advocate, he hates the non-violence of Ron Paul, thus the smear. He did allow Ron time to answer the questions, out of reluctant respect for the rEVOLution. But he also knew that tonight would be the highest rated Beck show in history, and thus wanted not to look like a neocon crazy. In the face of the frenetic Mr. Beck, Ron, of course, was patient, calm, eloquent, and statesmanlike.
