“Gay Rights Must Be Criterion for US Aid Allocations”

Obama instructed this in December, 2011, via a memorandum.

“President Barack Obama has instructed officials to consider how countries treat their gay and lesbian populations when making decisions about allocating foreign aid.”

Hillary Clinton, his secretary of state, immediately jumped on board.

In issuing this directive, Obama garnered a personal benefit, in the form of gay votes and putting his Republican opponents on the gay politics spot. He interfered with the 2012 election.

Obama endangered national security, at least according to Republican campaign opponents like Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.

Romney said “I will be looking at foreign aid, whether it meets our national security interests and, number two, whether these nations are friends of ours and are willing to be friendly with us in ways when it matters the most.” (Note that the two-faced Romney changed his tune concerning Trump’s Ukraine actions.) Rick Perry said “Promoting special rights for gays in foreign countries is not in America’s interests and not worth a dime of taxpayers’ money.”

Was Obama’s directive not an abuse of power? Did this not rise to outright treason?!

Historians of the presidency have the capacity to write articles that detail hundreds and thousands of similar instances in which presidents made foreign aid contingent upon some behavior of foreign governments and simultaneously helped themselves politically. Historians who write detailed accounts of presidents’ actions know all about this kind of use of power. It’s routine.

Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler are posturing absurdly that Trump has endangered the republic. They demand Trump’s head, but their case rests on an exercise of presidential power and prerogative that routinely belongs to presidents and the presidency. Precedents abound, and this creates its own legality in such political matters. Speak up, historians. Publish their articles, media.

In fact, in the case of Ukraine just 4 years ago, Obama and Biden made a $1 billion loan contingent on the firing of one Ukrainian prosecutor named Viktor Shokin who was on the trail of Burisma and Hunter Biden.

Truth is being drowned out for the moment by the calculated repetition of charges by Democrats and their allied media mouthpieces. Their speech has been pre-packaged. That paragon of national security, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who compromised Congressional security by hiring spy and crook, Imran Aman, today parroted the scripted charges.

Truth about the anti-Trump conspiracies continues to surface through diligent research, as in this article. Official government institutions have yet to show us that they have pursued these matters in the detail and with the thoroughness that they deserve. We still very badly need to see documented the entire apparatus and all the people in it who criminally conspired to prevent Trump’s election and then to negate it. They are doing this at the present moment and the light of truth has yet to be shone upon them.

I have no confidence that the Republicans like McConnell and Graham will conduct a Senate impeachment trial that will thoroughly illuminate the scandalous anti-Trump conspiracies that have been attempting for 3 years to dislodge Trump and weaken his resolves. Graham wants a quick trial. McConnell’s agenda will be tied to his priorities, not to Trump’s or that of truth.
