An exchange on NRO between Jonah Goldberg and a reader. Asks the reader: “Isn’t it as absurd for Jews to hold Christians collectively responsible for the murderous actions of medieval Christians – regardless of their reasoning – as it would be for Christians to hold Jews collectively responsible for killing Jesus?” Jonah claims to agree, for individual Christians, but then says it’s OK to hate the Catholic Church, since it existed then, and still exists.
