From The Beginning —

What we have been witnessing in 2020 is nothing new. I have a wonderful colleague, Patrick Newman, who has written an exciting new book that he sent me in .pdf format. It is called  Liberty versus Power: Cronyism in America, 1607-1849. Previously Professor Newman was the exemplary editor of Murray N. Rothbard’s The Progressive Era, and Conceived in Liberty, Volume 5: The New Republic: 1784-1791.

It is the definitive work on political and economic corruption and cronyism in America from the colonial beginning to the end of the Jacksonian era. It is one of the most searing, powerful and authoritative books I have ever read. The rank and fetid politicization of the government has been present from the beginning. This incise volume will not leave you unscathed but will shake you to your core. It is the perfect compliment to Rothbard’s five volume Conceived in Liberty series, and Ivan Jankovic’s The American Counter-Revolution in Favor of Liberty: How Americans Resisted Modern State, 1765–1850.

The American people at large — content to deferentially dwell within the United States of Amnesia —  still do not get it. The deep state, driven by the imperial presidency, an acquiescent congress and a complacent federal judiciary, has destroyed the American Republic. The parasitic welfare-warfare state, enabled by the Fed, fosters and promotes the profligacy and dependency which is at the root of this destructive process

Criminal aggression, ruthlessness, and duplicity are not aberrations or breakdowns of the American State, but are absolutely endemic to it.

Since the enactment of the National Security Act of 1947 and the establishment of the deep state, the United States has undergone a wrenching series of overt and covert domestic transformations of power from one predatory group of elites to another.

These illegal clandestine actions have included the stealing of the 1952 GOP presidential nomination by the Dwight Eisenhower forces from Robert Taft; the theft of the 1960 presidential election by the John Kennedy forces; the assassinations of John and Robert Kennedy; the assassination of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X; the October Surprise of 1968; the attempted assassination of George Wallace; Watergate; the October Surprise of 1980; the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan; the Iran-Contra scandal; the derailment by blackmail and intimidation of the Ross Perot 1992 presidential candidacy; the GOP theft of the 2000 presidential election; 9/11; and the stealing of the 2004 presidential election.

Most recently we have witnessed the attempted Russiagate coup d’état against Donald Trump emerging from the 2016 presidential election, concocted by deep state intelligence elements, apparats within the Democratic Party and the Hillary Clinton campaign, and fueled by the mainstream establishment media, followed by the successful 2020 coup by these same treasonous and despicable seditionists.
