Social Justice Snowflakes at American University in Washington, DC decided to “celebrate” Veterans Day by burning American flags and chanting “F _ _ _ White America.”
If a conservative scholar were to appear at AU to give a talk on the constitutional ideas of the founding fathers all hell would break loose; safe rooms would be reserved and filled to capacity; protests would be organized; the speaker would be shouted down; and he would inevitably be accused of “insensitive” speech. This has become the routine modus operandi of almost every university in America whenever a conservative or libertarian is invited (always by a student organization, never by the faculty) to speak there.
Advocating free-market competition or limited constitutional government is “hate speech” and is deemed to be so insensitive that the commie university administrators always demand an apology on the part of the speaker. But use gutter language like “F _ ck White America!” and American University administrators all of a sudden become defenders of “free speech,” as described in the linked article. Nothing insensitive about that language.
