A Republican Army veteran running for the U.S. Senate in West Virginia wants to waterboard drug dealers. He says that “the opioid crisis in the U.S. is an issue he feels strongly about after losing the mother of his son to opioid addiction a decade ago.” The sad truth is that this woman who died from taking drugs is responsible for her death. If you play with fire you might get burned. No one forced her to take drugs. It is conservative drug warriors like this Senate candidate who ought to be waterboarded.
