Evasion of Culpability

Anthony, I think Golberg has only recently found some kernels of truth because he and other neocons are trying to deflect any culpability in their association with Bush and his insane war which are both now political losers. This is also why the neocons at NRO are all up in arms over the Meirs nomnination. They’re using the nomination as an opportunity to officially put distance between themselves and the now defunct Bush machine. Even Larry Kudlow, perpetual Bush economic cheerleader, is all of a sudden skeptical of the gargantuan spending binge that has been the last 5 years. None of the neocon’s new founded concerns are genuine (lust for power and self preservation are their only concerns). Rather the concerns are just a big c.y.a. against the fallout that is ensuing from this monstrous war.

These neocon parasites are now done with their host, GW. Unless they can find a host for 2008 (they can’t latch onto McCain, maybe Gulliani), they will most likely go dormant until they can find another administration to infect.

In the battle of ideas our job now as libertarians is to keep after these neocons and hit them hard. In military parlance, the neocons are now in a dispersed and undisciplined retreat. The silver lining to the tragic Iraq war is that their position is completely exposed ready to be intellectually crushed, especially the insanity of the liberventionist. Currently, culpability will not be easy for the neocon to evade, let’s not miss this opportunity.
