Down With Gowned Clowns

December 19, 2020

Catholic author and editor Daniel Hopkins writes,

Everyone knows SCOTUS voted to not hear Texas’s case on voter fraud. It’s the talk of the town.

What no one is talking about is who on the SCOTUS voted to ignore the case, and it took some digging just to find the tally, which was 7 to 2. I’ve also been able to find the names of those two who voted in favor: Clarence Thomas (appointed by George H. W. Bush) and Samuel Alito (appointed by George W. Bush).

If this is true, then the Bill Clinton appointee voted to not hear the case (obviously), so did Obama’s two appointees, plus another Bush appointee, and so did all THREE of Trump’s appointees: Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and the great Amy Coney Barrett, who conservative Catholics and evangelicals alike praised would give us that edge to finally overturn Roe v. Wade (keep dreaming!).

Why is no one calling out their betrayal? There are only nine members on SCOTUS, and no one is dropping names.

And if anyone does call them out, wanna bet he’ll compare them to Benedict Arnold? Yet none of them are fit to wipe Benny’s shoes (and if you don’t believe me, read Abducting Arnold. Hint: makes an ideal Christmas gift!).
