Here’s one of his earlier statements on the government death penalty. Note: each time I’ve heard him say he read every page of the legal record of every man he was about to kill, I knew he was lying. There are many, many thousands of pages for each case. It would have taken all his time and more as governor to do so. He no more read these than he read the bills he signed.
