Democrats Say To Hell With Defending Individual Rights and Civil Liberties Against The Deep State

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Here is clear, indisputable evidence of the Democrats saying to Hell with adhering to their Oaths of Office regarding Constitutional safeguards against egregious domestic violations of essential rights and civil liberties by deferring and acquiescing to deep state control of American society.

In one of their first acts since retaking control of the House of Representatives, Republicans established a new “Church Committee 2.0” Tuesday that plans to investigate the weaponization of government against Americans and promised to use it to curb alleged abuses by the nation’s intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

The Judiciary subcommittee will also focus on alleged coordination between social media giants and the federal government.

Not a single Democrat voted in favor of creating the new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which promises to probe the Department of Justice. In a party-line vote, lawmakers approved the creation of the panel Tuesday afternoon, with 220 Republicans voting in favor and 211 Democrats voting against.
