Criminals in California

September 11, 2020

Scott in Colorado sends an update on Californiastan’s persecution of Christians.

A megachurch that has defied Los Angeles County’s pandemic health orders must stop holding Sunday worship services indoors, under a judge’s ruling Thursday.

L.A. County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff sided with public health officials, who took legal action last month to enforce health orders against Grace Community Church, an evangelical congregation in Sun Valley that has been holding Sunday worship services indoors since July 26.

Oh, those criminals! Hard to believe this story comes from the land of the allegedly free rather than communist Russia or China, isn’t it? Meanwhile, you might think LA’s rulers would worry more about the actual criminals running riot quite literally than peaceable, unarmed Christians. But the latter are always government’s preferred prey.

The church’s attorneys plan to appeal, of course. But will the corrupt (in)justice system ever protect believers’ inalienable rights to worship as they please despite spurned bureaucrats’ fury?

Probably not. And that’s why God made revolutions.

Hearteningly, John MacArthur, pastor of the aforementioned “megachurch,” and his staff

have also resisted orders requiring the congregation of thousands to wear face coverings and socially distance. MacArthur has expressed deep skepticism that there is a COVID-19 pandemic.

Scott in Colorado comments,

He’s finally on board!  Wish he had put his foot down in March, but better late than never.

And may his awakening jolt Parson Goat into stamping his hooves and vowing rebellion against the plandemic’s lies and tyranny, too.
