Coming Soon To An Election Near You?

Today Paul Craig Roberts pulls back the curtain on those marvelous Dynamos of Democracy who demand that the only legitimate government is one that they impose by bombs and plunder:

The war conditions in Syria to which London and Paris have contributed mean that the idea of elections is ‘totally unrealistic,’ says Obama’s State Department.

Savor that for a moment.

Now consider: the usual suspects are not only threatening, but openly planning for and scheduling violence throughout the summer and fall.

Should their fondest, fiendish dreams be fulfilled, this planned chaos will crescendo around “election” day.

Now: Is it hard to imagine how our bipartisan plutocratic pols might suddenly realize, somewhere around  Halloween, that “the idea of elections is ‘totally unrealistic'”?
