More CIA-Fabricated Fake News

As late as 1990 the CIA was claiming that the economy of the Soviet Union was 50% the size of the U.S. economy. The world learned shortly thereafter that it wasn’t even 5%. Overestimating the size of the Soviet economy by a multiple of ten did, however, help stoke the flames of the dying Cold War. And then there was the fake “Iraq-has-weapons-of-mass-destruction” scam, and . . .
If the Russians can manipulate American elections through “hacking,” I wonder why they used their hacking skills to get Obama elected and re-elected. Just wondering. Maybe someone at the CIA can tell us in another one of those “secret” front-page Washington Post articles.
