Charges have been dropped against a Virginia minister who held a Palm Sunday service for 16 people in defiance of the state’s coronavirus lockdown orders at the time.

You may remember this outrage because it was so over-the-top:

On April 5, police rushed into the 300-person-capacity Lighthouse Fellowship Church on Chincoteague Island and arrested Pastor Kevin Wilson …

“It shocked me, that [the police] came in all masked all up,” Wilson later said … “And it shocked the people. They were saying, ‘What in the world is going on here?’”

Poor Pastor Wilson risked a year in jail and a fine of $2,500, so praise the Lord for the pastor’s faithfulness to Him and His to the pastor!

“I am pleased that the charges were dropped,” [said] Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, which is representing Wilson … “They should’ve never been issued in the first place.”

Yo, Parson Goat: where were you while your brother endured the State’s tantrum? All your cooperation with Leviathan did nothing to placate the beast as he sought to devour this Christian.

May God raise up many more Pastor Wilsons while calling Parson Goat to repentance. Serious repentance.
