Bush, Kerry, Either Way WE Win

Some on this blog are worried about a Bush win (more war, more spending, greater threats to civil liberties). Some are worried about a Kerry win (more war, more spending, greater threats to civil liberties). However in each scenario, I think us, in the anti-state/anti-war crowd, will have a greater opportunity to convince even more individuals in this country about the evils of the state. Granted, in each scenario the American state will tighten its grip even further with more regulations and violations of natural law, but this grants us even more opportunities to fight the statist mindset.

I think libertarians should start thinking like the old marine Chesty Puller. When his one division completely surrounded by 22 Chinese divisions, at the Chosin Reservoir, he said, “They are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that out numbers us 29:1. THEY CAN’T GET AWAY FROM US NOW!”

Don’t fret, we got them right where we want them.
