Bush Is Wagging the Dog Against Iran

January 7, 2008

Is this his phonied-up Gulf of Tonkin incident? (The original was LBJ’s excuse for aggression against Vietnam.)

Let’s keep in mind that Iran has not attacked another country in many, many years (indeed, it was the victim of a US-ginned up Iraqi war that killed a million people); that US warships, stuffed to the gills with WMD, surround it; and that Bush and the neocons are itching to murder that poor, third-world nation that has only defensive weapons.

Yes, Iran has an idiot-evil president, but they’re not the only ones in trouble if that’s an excuse for aggression.
