Attention Floridians (And Florida Vacationers)!
January 4, 2025
Big News! Our friend and Mises Institute contributor Jason Jewell was just appointed as the inaugural Chief Academic Officer of the Florida University System. He will speak at our February 22 Mises Circle in Tampa on “Educating for Liberty” along with myself, Jonathan Newman, and Professor Timothy Terrell. It may well be Jason’s first public presentation since becoming the chief academic officer of the entire state of Florida university system.
Florida leads the way in education reform (in a good way) so join us in Tampa on February 22!
Registration is $70 for Mises Institute members and $75 for non-members and includes a buffet breakfast and all lectures.
Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo [send him mail] is a former professor of economics at Loyola University Maryland and a longtime member of the senior faculty of the Mises Institute. He is the author or co-author of eighteen books including The Real Lincoln; How Capitalism Saved America; Lincoln Unmasked; Hamilton's Curse; Organized Crime: The Unvarnished Truth About Government; The Problem with Socialism; and The Politically-Incorrect Guide to Economics.
