In Saudi Arabia a blogger named Raif Badawi was sentenced last year to 10 years in prison and 1,000 lashes for “insulting Islam.” Last Friday he endured his first 50 lashes with a cane in a public flogging. He was supposed to receive another 50 lashes today, but for medical reasons his flogging was canceled.
And Saudi Arabia is our ally in the war on terror? I guess if you can ally with Stalin then no country is off limits.
