American Cultural Appropriation

September 15, 2023

I just received an invitation to attend the first annual Lincoln Prize lecture at the American Civil War Museum in Richmond, formerly the Museum of the Confederacy.  A run-of-the-mill Lincoln idolater is the speaker, funded by the New York based Gilder-Lehrman Institute.  Southerners STILL need to be “reconstructed” according to the wealthy New Yorkers funding the renamed institute and the boot licking, money grubbing, bureaucratic weasels who run it.  Gilder, by the way, “reviewed” my book The Real Lincoln shortly after it was published some twenty years ago while admitting in print that he had not read a word of it.
