Amen!! on all counts of recommendation. How ironic it is that its legendary star, James Stewart, retired a brigadier general, who piloted American bombers over the European theater during WWII. His charisma as a movie star (along with the touching sweetness of his co-star June Allyson) still manages to eclipse my anti-war sensibilities whenever I watch one of my other favorites of his movies: Strategic Air Command. As a kid, one of my favorite model airplanes was the massive and unwieldy B-36 that he crashed early in that movie.
