Yesterday, we learned that “Cops in Dallas slaughtered a 15-year old boy … as he “was leaving a party over the weekend.” The triggerman’s excuse? The “vehicle Jordan [Edwards, the victim] was in backed down the road toward officers ‘in an aggressive manner.’ An officer fired at the vehicle and struck Jordan, who was pronounced dead at a hospital…”

Michael Geary, who sent me the original article, forwarded an update today: not surprisingly, “The police chief … admitted Monday that a car full of teens was driving away from police when an officer armed with a rifle fatally shot a 15-year-old boy in the head.” [I added the emphasis as shorthand for “Didn’t we all know the cops lied?”]

And wow, did the head cheese lambast Jordan’s butcher: “’It did not meet our core values,’ [Chief Jonathan] Haber said of his officer’s actions.”

Gracious, Chief, simmer down, lest such scathing condemnation send the union into a tizzy or the killer into meltdown.
