Murray lived and died a happy man. Those who bash him are, from what I know of them personally, far from happy. Indeed, how can they be, if they sold their souls for respect from the academic establishment, which is not worth having even if were forthcoming. Part of Murray’s greatness was happily to go his way without regard for anything but the truth.
