A Second Cup

April 5, 2017

Few sights revolt more than that of victims licking the hand that whipped them. So while we retch at the idea that cops are buying off serfs with a cup of coffee and a heavy dose of propaganda, James Lloyd found a horror even more nauseating. He writes me that residents of a “small Iowa city started SOS-Serve Our Servants-to do things for public ‘employees’ like buy pizza for everyone at the regional highway patrol office or ‘Tops for Cops’, a program to buy traditional hats so members of the local PD can look nice in a formal uniform.”

It gets worse. Such craven sucking-up to Our Rulers originated with Christians. Astounding, isn’t it, as we approach Holy Week and remember how the satanic State shredded our Savior’s flesh, that our siblings in the Lord revere the very institution that slaughtered Him, rewarding and pampering its personnel. In a world stuffed with suffering—and much of that suffering a direct result of political government—are Christians truly this hard up for good deeds and charitable outlets? Pssst, SOS: why not serve that pizza to the cops’ prey, those wretched men and women they’ve caged? Indeed, Christ Himself commanded us to care for those in prison, to “remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them…” Yet search the Bible through, and I see nothing about supplying hats or pizza to the brutes who locked them in there.

Meanwhile, Lee writes that he has “personal experience with the Hawthorne, CA police mafia”—the thugs who invented “Coffee with a Cop”:

I occasionally take a shorter … route to work … that, unfortunately, takes me right thorough the middle of their fiefdom.  One day I got caught up in a random traffic stop, during rush hour traffic, where every driver in either direction was stopped and interrogated.  I had to show my driver’s license.  I asked why they set up the traffic stop and was told they were screening for unlicensed drivers.  I told the officer that was nonsense and that it was actually harassment.  He let me continue on.  But, I could tell by his demeanor that he has no respect for us average citizens. … it’s amazing the Hawthorne police think their relationship with the community can be improved, over coffee, when they conduct harassment drills on an unsuspecting public just trying to live uninterrupted, normal lives.

Yep. But that’s the M.O. of the State at every level, every time. Truly, it’s the direst enemy of all mankind.
