A Gene for Liberty?

I have long wondered if there is a genetic predisposition for liberty. This question was revisited, recently, when my wife took one of my two-year old grandchildren to a zoo. The child had a prolonged interest in an owl that was housed in a cage, then said to my wife: “he wants to get out.” After a short pause, the two-year old then said: “let’s break the cage.”
