A Different Take On Tulsi Gabbard’s Flawed But Heroic Campaign

Dale, I have a different take on Tulsi’s noble and heroic presidential campaign effort on her part considering all the obstacles erected in her path.

In 1963, before his assassination, JFK and Barry Goldwater had quietly discussed plans to campaign and debate together in 1964 and offer voters a clear choice between the manufactured liberalism and conservatism (of that era) if they were selected as nominees of their parties respectfully.

I had a similar vision that in the best possible world (perhaps in an alternative universe where we definitely do not dwell) DJT and Tulsi would choose to do the same and offer 2020 voters a real choice between Trump’s unique populist nationalism and Tulsi’s measured antiwar progressivism, both emphasizing their nuanced programs of a new foreign policy of prudential non-interventionism and an end to America’s “forever wars” of regime change.

But in both cases the murderous deep state and egregious media had other plans (here, here).
