A Big Mistake

One of the cable “news” channels listed poll results for Democratic Party presidential candidates. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders was identified among them. But that can’t be, can it? Sanders has long identified his party affiliation as “Independent.” So why is he listed alongside Hillary? Shouldn’t he have to await the Independent Party primaries and his appearance at the Independent Party National Convention?
