Saudi Arabia and Iran are in a diplomatic war over the Saudi execution of a prominent Shiite cleric critical of the Saudi government. Diplomatic relations have been broken and escalation seems all but inevitable. The Chinese market dropped seven percent today, leading to a suspension in trading.
