20 Companies That Are Profiting the Most From War
March 2, 2018
![]()
Not a brand-new list (from 24/7 Wall St. a year ago, but MSN keeps re-publishing it, most recently last Friday), but certainly an interesting ranking that should be updated every few years as a public service.
Of the 20, 13 of them are U.S. companies, 2 are Russian, 2 are U.K.-based, one is French, one Italian, and one is European (Airbus). Sample of the top 5:
5. Northrop Grumman
Country: United States
Arms sales: $21.4 billion
Profit: $2.2 billion
Employees: 67,000
3. Raytheon
Country: United States
Arms sales: $22.9 billion
Profit: $2.2 billion
Employees: 63,000
1. Lockheed Martin
Country: United States
Arms sales: $40.8 billion
Profit: $5.3 billion
Employees: 97,000
