A New Era in American Politics: The Kennedy-Trump Alliance

Both Trump and RFK Jr. have become utterly disillusioned with a party that promotes the antithesis of American core values that its forefathers envisioned, which included individualism, equality, diversity, unity, liberty, and self-government (democracy).

On August 23, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced, in his address to the nation, that he would be suspending his presidential bid to endorse President Donald J. Trump. RFK Jr. declared that while his name would no longer be on the ballot in crucial swing states, voters would still be able to cast ballots for him in other states.

When I wrote a piece for Crisis Magazine on May 29, 2023, titled “Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: The Presidential Dark Horse,” I looked forward to the prospect of a run-off between President Trump and RFK Jr. I reasoned that

both, in a sense, are political outsiders and anti-establishment figures, despite one being a former president and the other having a long line of relatives involved in politics. They both seem to see the two-party system as a uni-party, or, in other words, two sides of the same coin. However, both seem bent on restoring their parties.

No doubt, RFK Jr.’s decision to run as an independent and now alongside Trump represents a stark contrast to his previous trajectory. However, recently, particularly in the aftermath of Trump’s assassination attempt, I harbored the hope that the two could work together as opposed to run against one another. Upon hearing a leaked video call between Trump and RFK Jr. that surfaced on X, where they appeared to be discussing the failed assassination attempt, I speculated that this could be a real possibility. The video also captures Trump speaking to RFK Jr. about certain health issues involving children and vaccine dosages.

Before he ran for the Republican leadership, Trump, a lifelong Democrat, saw his country in deep trouble. Both Trump and RFK Jr. have become utterly disillusioned with a party that promotes the antithesis of American core values that its forefathers envisioned, which included individualism, equality, diversity, unity, liberty, and self-government (democracy). The U.S. and other Western countries have strayed so far from these ideals that we’ve gotten to the point where Russian President Vladimir Putin is now offering refuge to Westerners fleeing neo-liberal ideologies. In the past, it was people fleeing from Russia to America; something has gone deeply wrong.

The Tactics of the Undemocratic Party

There are many reasons to believe that the Democratic Party is unravelling itself; I’ll mention just a few. First, the Democrats have weaponized the courts against their political enemies. Undoubtedly, this historic indictment of a former president—who at the time was also seeking the Republican nomination for 2024—has been an outrageous misuse of power, using the legal system as a weapon for the exclusive goal of political prosecution. Since RFK Jr.’s announcement, special counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment against Trump—only 70 days prior to the 2024 election.

For the past several months, Democrats and their allies have also incessantly sued RFK Jr. in the hopes of keeping him from appearing on ballots across the U.S., especially in the battleground states, fearing that a vote for him would favor Trump. Ever since RFK Jr. announced his endorsement of Trump, they are now forcing him to remain on the ballot in Michigan and Wisconsin so they can try and take votes away from Trump. RFK Jr. recently disclosed that Democrats are pressuring him to fork over $10 million in order to protect himself from Democrats who wanted to keep him off the ballots.

Recently, Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the Biden Administration exerted pressure on META to censor Americans, while the FBI similarly pressured META to silence the Hunter Biden laptop story. Jack Dorsey, the former Twitter CEO (now known as X and headed by Elon Musk), was responsible for censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story on Twitter, as is widely known—or should be. Furthermore, Zuckerberg expressed disappointment in working with the Biden and Harris administration to censor Covid information online. Interestingly, a video recently resurfaced of him warning his Facebook staff about the mRNA Covid vaccine shots changing DNA. Zuckerberg would’ve been banned by his own policy.

Dr. Jill Stein, an independent and former Democrat who is running for president with the Green Party, had this to say about RFK Jr.’s pointed criticism of the Democratic Party:

We may disagree with RFK Jr. about many things, but he’s right about how the Democratic Party uses lawfare and dirty tricks to suppress democratic competition and voter choice. The Dems preach about “saving democracy”, but in reality they’re working overtime to stamp it out.

Last Rights: The Death... Bovard, James Best Price: $11.33 Buy New $19.99 (as of 05:36 UTC - Details) The mainstream media, at the behest of the Democratic Party, has initiated multiple slander campaigns against RFK Jr. to lessen the impact of his endorsement of Trump.

Let’s also not forget that for three and a half years, the Democratic Party misled their supporters into believing that President Joe Biden was fully capable of leading the free world, despite the overwhelming evidence of his rapid physical and cognitive decline. Kamala Harris, in her capacity as vice president, lied about this for years. The media only “exposed” this after a horrific debate performance against Trump on June 27, 2024. Shortly thereafter, Kamala Harris announced her candidacy on July 21, 2024—and, without voting process, was coronated the Democrat’s nominee. Her CNN interview with her running mate Tim Walz on August 29 was filled with lies and flip-flopping for the world to witness. What this interview revealed is that this is a fight against oligarchical machinery rather than any independent-thinking candidate, since they aren’t controllable.

(My book Making Sense of Nonsense: Navigating through the West’s Current Quagmire contains numerous examples of election interference, general censorship, weaponizing the courts against political enemies, and slandering opponents, all of which have played a significant role in misleading the common voter in the U.S. and all over the world. Due to my unbelief of the sad state of Western politics, American in particular, I’ve published two satirical books under True Freedom Press’ satirical-gag series: The Safe Bet and The Safe Bet! Part Deux.)
