What An Imperfect President Has Done So Far

He’s boastful.  He’s brash.  I get the idea he is his own hero.  He Twitters in knee-jerk fashion when unfairly criticized in social media (two can play that game he says).  I can’t imagine the next President firing back at critics via Twitter, or any succeeding President.  But Mr. Trump is Mr. Trump.  Americans may end up thanking him for saving what is left of a democracy.  And Americans get to view the Executive Branch as a fully transparent branch of government on Twitter.  Can you imagine?

When Americans wake up and realize they aren’t going to get meaningful pay raises (incomes are stagnant in the US), they had better realize that criticism of President Trump’s corporate tax rate cut from 40% to 20% does not just benefit wealthy corporate stockholders. A tax cut should result in a 20% drop in the cost of goods and services, which is a back-door pay raise.  So far, nobody has mentioned this.

In fact, taxes on corporations should be zero so other countries can’t set their corporate tax rates below the US tax rate so its companies can out-compete American companies.  The lost tax revenues can be made up with a small sales tax.

Time to buy old US gold coins

In the larger scheme of things, ~$400 billion of tax revenues would be lost with a zero-percent corporate tax rate, but the federal government spends ~$6.6 trillion a year (source: ShadowStats.com, 2013 figures) and takes in ~$3.3 trillion, with the difference being made up by black-op money (illicit drugs) and just printing the money.  So what’s $400 billion (1/10th of 1 percent of federal spending) when the government is printing another $3.3 trillion?  The idea of a balanced budget is beyond practical.  America is living an unearned lifestyle.  Government is hooked on giveaways to appease the masses.

You’re Fired!

Another thing President Trump is bringing to the Federal Government is his “You’re Fired” attitude.  Did you see what happened when Dr. Tom Price, Health & Human Services Secretary, took charter air flights at government expense?  He was asked to resign

Draining the swamp

There is criticism President Trump isn’t “draining the swamp” in Washington DC as fast as he promised.  But actually Trump IS draining the swamp by attrition– not replacing State Department diplomats who resign and he has made paper shufflers out of remaining State Department diplomats

The State Department is riddled with Hilary Clinton appointees who struck a deal with Hillary Clinton to allow removal or destruction of electronic records the former State Department chief had hidden.  The FBI has also been fingered for covering up Clinton misdeeds, like the pre-election Bill Clinton-Loretta Lynch (former Attorney General) meeting on the tarmac at the Phoenix airport and the FBI agent whose emails revealed bias against the new President.  There is evidence Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign covertly took over the Justice Department.  One critic of the leftover government says maybe the FBI should be shut down.

While many patriotic Americans may believe President Trump hasn’t done enough to “drain the swamp,” if you have time listen to Kay Griggs, wife of a military officer, talk about the corruption and sexual immorality in our military ranks.
It is only coincidence that the Trump Administration has fired 60 admirals over a procurement (search under “Fat Leonard”) scandal at the center of this corruption.

Fake News and the CIA

And if you are a Trump critic and are bothered by all of his golfing outings and trips to his resort in Mar-a-Lago, Florida at taxpayers expense, Washington DC has become a trap for this President.  There is no hiding, major news media airs slanted news reports his appointees are about to resign, he is mentally unstable, he is about to be impeached, and that his administration is ruining the State Department

It is a logical step that infiltration by the Central Intelligence Agency to control the nation’s news media, initially for so-called patriotic reasons to issue government propaganda, morphed into fake news of a political nature.

The news media is gulping hard to concede it has distributed “fake news.”  President Trump is single-handedly winning the war against the news media (and indirectly against the CIA).   Whatever vestiges of a democracy are left in America rely on a neutral unbiased news media acting as watchdog over government.  That idea vanished long ago.

Look what the news media failed to report during the Obama Administration:

There is a lot more to come in this political drama that grips America every day.  Stay tuned.
