While in Nashville recently I learned of the latest way in which government is attempting to destroy private schools. In cities like Baltimore (and apparently Nashville as well) many government schools are filled with young thugs and criminals who brutally assault teachers — sometimes to the point of hospitalization. According to news reports, there are several HUNDRED such criminal assaults in the Baltimore city schools each year, and hardly anything is ever done about it.
The government schools do everything they can to avoid expelling the thugs, but sometimes they eventually do. But then there are protests over such harsh treatment of these poor little darlings. So, the “solution” that some school districts have employed is to use tax dollars to pay the tuition at almost-broke private schools that are apparently so desperate for money that they will enroll these criminals. They are desperate for money, of course, because of all the unfair competition by government schools.
Parents beware: Expensive private school tuition will not necessarily protect your children from government-approved thuggery.
