After Mass last Sunday, inside the Beltway, a parishioner who works for a federal agency (I don’t know which one) told his pastor, half-humorously, half depressingly, that his agency had recently bought “several thousand iPods” because they had to spend all the money they had in a certain account and got a “good price.”
If only they’d listen to music all day, instead of destroying the country.
