NPR: The “Fed” No Longer Prints Money

Finally, some truth about economics from NPR. I heard on NPR an interview with War Street Journal writer David Wessel (who is writing a book on the “Fed”). Wessel explains that the “Fed” no longer prints money. It just pushes a button on a computer and now literally creates money “out of thin air.” The topic on how the “Fed” creates money starts at 1:30 minutes into the interview.

Calling Murray Rothbard.
