Exporting the Bloody Drug War to Mexico

It is not enough that the U.S. drug war has resulted in millions incarcerated, the explosion of no-knock police raids, and innocents killed and imprisoned in this country. No, the mayhem extends to Mexico, where innocent people are caught up in the crossfire and where both police and drug lords kill with impunity.

The bloody mess south of the border comes because U.S. authorities are insisting that Mexico be a battlefield of this immoral and unwinnable war. It is not enough that government policies have turned the inner cities of this country into free-fire zones. No, we also insist on exporting this violence to Mexico and beyond.
