I loved the Fox/WashTimes story on bin Laden wanting to poison the cocaine trade! What marvellous fiction (you can tell by the sources).
The only whiff of truth in the whole thing were the coke lords deciding poisoned coke would be bad for business. (Duh.) The rest reads like some dredful fiendish plot concocted by a third-rate geo-political thriller writer or bad Hollywood script writer. (Jeffrey Archer, please call your book agent! Here’s another ridiculous plot you can write about!)
It also assumes that a Bush Administration would view people dropping dead from snorting and smoking poison cocaine as a public health crisis. LOL. Okay, a small poll — how many of you out there, Red State or Blue State denizen, think the government ought to wage war on anyone if crack addicts and line snorters start dying ’cause al-Qaeda spiked their drugs with, say, Draino?
