Why should there even be a mention of the capital of a foreign country in the RNC and DNC platforms? The capital of any country is what that country says it is and it is none of our business. Imagine if a German or French political party had a statement in their party platforms about whether Washington DC should be the capital of the USA? How ludicrous. And how ludicrous it is that the RNC and DNC should even mention the capital of another country.
