Back in the Clinton days, illegal immigration was a key issue in the Democrat Platform. They were vehemently against it and railed against the Koch Brothers and the white collar corporate multinational globalist Republican Party. They were right.
And then Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and expanded NATO. The Democrat base- the blue collar workers, union workers, farmers, small business owners, Black Americans, many Dem Congressional ,Senate members and appointed Department Heads were furious. Particularly the wonderful Pat Moynihan, the fabulous Barbara Jordan and drumroll… the since turned POS extraordinaire, Chuck Schumer.
