Writes Tim McGraw:
United Airlines: DEI HIres (quotas on sex and skin color)
I doubt if the billionaires use DEI principles in the hiring of their pilots and mechanics who fly and work on their private jets.
I worked in General Aviation for over 25 years as an aircraft mechanic. EVERY pilot and mechanic I knew was of European heritage. There were female pilots but no female mechanics. It’s a dirty and physical job fixing small aircraft. They had all passed rigorous schooling, as well as oral, written, and practical exams. To become an aircraft mechanic, I attended night school for two years. This was five nights a week and five hours a night. I had to punch in and out of school with a time clock. I then had to pass all the tests. After that, I spent three years in the hangar learning my craft from senior mechanics.
Physics, including gravity, doesn’t care what your sex or skin color is.
