The US has long prevented a political solution to the Korean conflict, just as it long prevented a political solution to the Vietnam conflict. Vietnam was finally unified, but only after a brutal US war of aggression against her. The Dulles brothers’ ghost must be cruising on the USS Carl Vinson as we approach yet another Korean War. How much more must the poor Koreans suffer under US hegemony and assorted diplomatic blunders dating back to the 1950s? Let us finally bury the odious Dulles brothers’ legacy. It’s high time for us to start anew.
