If a foreign crime boss threatened the life of Bush or Clinton or any other presidential candidate, there would be hysteria. But when El Chapo does the same to Trump, there are indulgent chuckles, such is the nature of the Trump Threat to the GOP. As a politically savvy friend told me a few minutes ago, “Trump is a ballistic missile aimed at the heart of the Republican party, and there is nothing whatsoever they can do about it. He could very well win the nomination, despite all the firm assurences that that is not possible. They will be reduced to agreeing with you, and asking people not to vote!”

BTW, notice that some foreign words and phrases are never translated? The Latino organization La Raza, where Hillary recently told Donald “Basta!” (Enough!), is never called The Race. El Chapo is never translated as The Dwarf. Surely he can’t be envious of the 6″4′ Donald.
