Current crisis and JFK

October 17, 2022

Lew:

I think often, these days, of James Douglass’ 2008 book JFK and The Unthinkable: Why he died and why it matters.

There are disturbing similarities in what we are facing today, and what President Kennedy faced.

There are differences, too, of course and sadly for us, one of them is the absence of a President (of either party) who would choose peace over

nuclear annihilation.

Sincerely,

Rev Charles
