The Openly Transgender U.S. Military
July 13, 2015
It is set to begin early next year. Will normal people who join and then decide to lose their manhood or womanhood be able to do so at taxpayer expense? That will certainly be coming soon.
And with the recent Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage, military chaplains will certainly now have to marry any same-sex couples (and transgender couples beginning next year). Hey Christians who try to serve two masters as military chaplains: what are you going to do now?
Laurence M. Vance [send him mail] writes from central Florida. He is the author of The Free Society; War, Christianity, and the State: Essays on the Follies of Christian Militarism; War, Empire, and the Military: Essays on the Follies of War and U.S. Foreign Policy; King James, His Bible, and Its Translators, and many other books. His newest book is The U.S. Proxy War in Ukraine.
