Shooter Theories on Trump Assassination Attempt

The Trump assassination attempt is now a week old. Multiple theories are emerging. There is the lone gunman theory, with debate over how a 20 year-old came so close to killing Trump. Was it due to incredible levels of incompetence by the Secret Service/local police? Or was it due to malicious acts?

On the day of the shooting, CNN put up a story that an audio analyst said there was evidence of three different shooters. That same day, Mike Adams said his audio analysis indicated more than one shooter. His estimate of the range for one of the shooters matched the location of the Crooks shooter. A few days later, Chris Martenson did an audio analysis that indicates there were two shooters.

The analysis by John Cullen uses audio/video evidence to map out possible ballistics for potential shooters. His argument, which seems convincing to me, is that there were three shooters.

One is clearly the Crooks shooter. Cullen argues Crooks, if he came close to Trump, would have hit the left side of his face. The ballistic trajectory does not match the graze wound on Trump’s right ear. To me, this supports the testimony that Crooks was kicked off the high school shooting team because he was a crummy shot. This makes Crooks the patsy, placed in a position where he was taken out by a SS sniper. He did a pray and spray series of shots, causing injuries but not coming close to Trump.

A second shooter was on the water tower. Cullen argues this shooter was shooting at the SS sniper team. The ballistic trajectory of a shooter on the water tower matches video evidence from the crowd and SS sniper team. There are two eyewitnesses who claimed a water tower shooter, and a claim by one of the eyewitnesses that the SS snipers killed this shooter. These eyewitnesses were quickly cut off and ignored.

After reviewing the ballistic trajectory needed for a bullet to graze Trump’s right ear, Cullen posits a third shooter in the trees. This shooter is the one who could have shot at Trump’s head and grazed his right ear when Trump turned his head at the last moment. Given the ballistics and assuming a 308 sniper rifle, Cullen attributes the miss to the variable wind that day in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Who did the shooting? Cullen says there are a spectrum of possibilities. One is that three young men, depressed and seeing no future, decided to go out in a blaze of glory. At the other end of the spectrum is a Deep State plot like JFK in Dallas. Cullen feels it is too early to make a call on where we are on the spectrum.

This is all very preliminary. We should expect the analysis will get updated, refined, and changed. But IMHO Cullen makes much more sense than the gruel the Biden Administration is putting out.
