Russia “hikes” gas prices for Ukraine? Or….
April 2, 2014
…as the LA Times article explains, Russia simply canceled ” a discount previously offered Ukraine due to the country being $1.7 billion in arrears for gas deliveries last year.” $1.7 BILLION. Seems altogether generous, given the circumstances. And it is spring in the Northern Hemisphere, after all. I’ll add humanitarian too. If this situation were taking place in America’s public schools or jails, we’d all agree that we are seeing a case of bullying. And not by the Kremlin. Great post and diagnosis, Michael!
