Republicans Have No Intention of Cutting Spending

Why are Republicans so concerned about not cutting taxes any further because of the effect on the deficit over the next ten years? Because they have no intention of cutting spending. Republicans want to increase spending every year up to $5.345 trillion in fiscal year 2027, as I pointed out here.
