But REAL Violence Is Just Fine!!

March 14, 2016

The intellectual lightweights who continue to wail over Donald Trump’s use of strong, threatening rhetoric no longer amuse me.  It is politically correct to lash out at someone who speaks of wanting to hit another person, but those who actually use the weapons of the state to kill or injure hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children are beyond criticism.  How many people have been killed by Trump’s angry words?  How many have been killed by rockets and bombs under the control of presidents?  And when John McCain campaigned with his own choreographed dance steps to the tune “bomb, bomb, bomb Iran,” I don’t recall the self-righteous diaper-twisting going on at CNN, Faux News, or any of the other media centers!

And to the Trump critics who plead for a more intelligent dialogue focused on specific issues, Ron Paul made a peaceful, philosophically principled, economically sound, effort to do just that in his recent presidential campaigns. He was ignored, booed, and laughed at by the same voices that now go after Trump. I am not a Trump supporter, but I am enjoying the ruckus he is creating in allowing the few intelligent minds to see both the absurdity and insanity of political systems.
