Re: Loyola and Walter

Michael:  Those who wrote this paragraph have almost figured it out: every example they give about the adverse consequences of slavery derive from the denial of self-ownership.  Slavery and the state have this in common: self-ownership is rejected.  This is the point Walter was making. That so many otherwise intelligent people have difficulty rising above their politically-correct mindset to understand this is something they might be able overcome by re-reading these comments – to be read slowly and to point to every word.
