Raise the Gas Tax?

It was 85 years ago that the federal government began taxing gasoline. The tax is now about 18 cents a gallon. Unfortunately, Trump said “he’s willing to raise the U.S. gas tax to fund infrastructure development.” How about stop buying bombs and missiles from merchants of death to fund infrastructure development?
