“Built and trained at a two-decade cost of $83 billion, Afghan security forces collapsed so quickly and completely — in some cases without a shot fired — that the ultimate beneficiary of the American investment turned out to be the Taliban,” begins a shocking admission. And it appears in an even more shocking publication: Military.com.

“But we knew this years ago,” says Jim, who surfaced from deep in the heart of Texas to forward this article.

Indeed. And if the point of this pointless war was to “pacify” a nation that neither needed nor wanted pacifying, the USSA did indeed fail. But if instead it was to enrich and empower the usual gang, the war succeeded admirably, with almost a trillion of our dollars flowing into their pockets. 

I want my money back.

Meanwhile, pundits argue that the USSA impossibly “[sought] to establish democracy in a country rife with corruption and cronyism.” Ahem. And how does that differ from the “democracy” ruining the USSA?

We can glean another lesson from this analysis:

Doug Lute, a retired Army lieutenant general who help direct Afghan war strategy during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, said that what the Afghans received in tangible resources they lacked in the more important intangibles.

“The principle of war stands — moral factors dominate material factors,” he said. “Morale, discipline, leadership, unit cohesion are more decisive than numbers of forces and equipment. …”

That’s a precept to remember during the upcoming war against Our Rulers. 

According to the WSJ: “The Biden administration is expected to call for a third Covid-19 shot for Americans who were fully vaccinated with the two-shot regimen.” You watch, it will be an annual shot soon.

The federal government has extended its mask mandate on airplanes until January 18.

According to an opinion poll I saw yesterday, there has been a twenty percentage point increase just in the past week in the number of Americans who believe that “we” should stay in Afghanistan.

The typical dumbass American apparently “thinks” as follows:

1.  The twenty year war in Afghanistan (Longest in American history) had no benefit whatsoever to anyone in America except for the corrupt and sinful military-industrial complex and its political sponsors.
2. Thousands of American soldiers were deceived and lied to and died for nothing.  Several times that number were maimed for life, physically and mentally.  They are not heroes; they are pathetic dupes and pawns.  All so that inside-the-beltway millionaires and billionaires could become even richer, live in even bigger mansions, and buy even bigger yachts.
3. Therefore, young American soldiers need to keep on dying for nothing forever so that “we” can stay in Afghanistan until kingdom come.

They require face masks for staff and students this school year. According to Ballotpedia: “Thirty states left mask requirements in schools up to local authorities. Seven states banned school mask requirements. Masks were required in schools by 13 states. Nevada’s school mask requirement only applied to districts with more than 100,000 residents, and New Mexico’s only applied to unvaccinated individuals and all individuals in elementary school.”

Surprisingly, in New England, only Connecticut requires masks in schools, and Kentucky, Virginia, and Louisiana are among the 13 evil states.

The Soviet war in Afghanistan was a nine-year proxy war during the Cold war involving the Soviet Union, supporting the Marxist-Leninist government of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan against the Afghan Mujahideen guerrilla movement and foreign “Arab–Afghan” volunteers. The Mujahideen received unofficial military and/or financial support from a variety of countries including the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Israel, Indonesia and China.

The US Export-Import Bank is the quintessential example of crony corporatism. The Bank is financed through your taxes and help build the Kama River Complex in the USSR. This truck factory was the largest in world, thirty six square miles in area, which produced over 250,000 heavy trucks, tanks, and armored personnel carriers each year. During the Vietnam War it built the trucks that carried supplies down the Ho Chi Minh Trail to North Vietnamese troops fighting American soldiers.

Forty-five percent of the financing for the Kama River Complex came from the Export-Import Bank; forty-five percent came from two syndicated loans from the Rockefellers’ Chase Manhattan Bank; and the Soviets picked up the remaining ten percent (a dime on the dollar) of the cost.

Later it was these Kama River Complex-built Soviet military vehicles that invaded Afghanistan in December 1979, traveling on a highway built from the Soviet border to Kabul which was a joint construction project of the US and Soviet governments in the 1960s during the Vietnam War. The head of the Export-Import Bank during the Nixon administration which authorized the financing and building of the Kama River Complex was William J. Casey, later CIA director under Ronald Reagan, who aided the Mujaheddin fighting the Soviet invaders of Afghanistan who arrived in vehicles built at Kama River.

Anecdotal evidence detailed by former Google software engineer Mike Hearn strongly suggests that most restaurants, cafes and other businesses in France are not enforcing the country’s controversial vaccine passport system.

As we highlighted last week, on the first day the new program was in place, police were visibly patrolling bars and cafes demanding customers show proof they’ve had the jab.

However, this seems to have largely been a bluff as just days later, businesses and venues have become very lax at checking people’s papers despite the threat of large fines.

“I decided to do a simple experiment to find out: always present an expired test even though I had a valid negative one, and see what happens,” writes Hearn.

“Over a four day stay I was required to show a valid pass exactly zero times; that includes at the airports in both directions. Compliance is absolutely min viable [sic] and often lower.”

“At small businesses enforcement was non-existent: sometimes the pass requirement was ignored entirely, other times we were asked “do you have a pass” and our answer wasn’t checked. …

In passing the law but failing to ensure that it is enforced, France is following the same model as Israel, where the point of introducing the system wasn’t really to enforce it, but merely as a means of bullying young people into getting the vaccine.

Let’s hope entrepreneurs in New York City and other metropolises introducing this heinous apartheid follow suit. Meanwhile, hang tight. How stupid will you feel if you submit to this dangerous shot only to prove to your favorite restaurant one measly time that you complied?

Shortly after Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the new rules on Aug. 3, a sign appeared in the front window of Pasticceria Rocco, a pastry shop and diner in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn: “We do not discriminate against any customer based on sex, gender, race, creed, age, vaccinated or unvaccinated. All customers who wish to patronize are welcome.”

“For me, it’s not political — most of my customers are vaccinated,” said Mary Josephine Generoso, who manages the eatery. “It’s about civil liberties and freedoms. Now we have to be in a society where people can’t roam freely and enter my place of business if they want to? How is that OK in the United States of America?” …

Stratis Morfogen, owner of the Brooklyn Chop House and the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, believes it will add up to little more than a dog-and-pony show — and says it’s not a good look for restaurants.

“What are we, the police? Asking our diners to ‘Show us ze papers,’ like in Nazi Germany?” Morfogen fumed, adding that the city mandate “is against our constitutional rights and everything we stand for.”

If you’re bombing, merely mention “highly educated and experienced scientists like Dr. Fauci.”  Your audience will reward you with a belly-laugh, as this one did.

While Richard Nixon was besieged by the Watergate scandal, the deep state powers-that-be knew that he could not be impeached until vice president Spiro Agnew was safely out of the way and not next in the direct line of presidential succession. When Agnew was forced to “Go Quietly … or Else,” Congressman Gerald Ford, former Warren Commission stooge and FBI informer, was inserted into the vice-presidential slot. Universal acclaim that “the system had worked” was proclaimed by the establishment regime media.

Last week, the tyrant-brute, Governor Janet Mills, mandated all healthcare workers to be jabbed by Oct 1st.  Well, people here are pushing back.  I attended a protest here in Portland … this past Saturday.  Had a decent turnout.  About 300 plus turned out on a very hot, humid day, but it was worth it.  It was peaceful, and great speakers spoke, and the protest took place near the largest hospital in Maine.  As you guessed, most of the protestors were people in the healthcare field.  I spoke with many of them, and most are either retiring, or going to look for other work.  None of these people will ever take this jab.  It’s good to see this resistance.  

And good to read of it, too! Especially when the corporate media ignores such spirited opposition. Do not lose heart in your stance against evil. People are awakening and objecting; we are no longer the minority! But this combat requires perseverance.

“Military Intelligence” now replaces “Jumbo Shrimp.”  If you are a member of the “intelligence community” you are, by definition, a moron (and, of course, a pathological liar as well).

CDC libertarians love the Covid-19 vaccine. Even in an article critical of mask mandates, CDC libertarians have to criticize Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for making it “difficult for both government agencies and private businesses to require vaccination.” His “COVID-19 declarations get in the way of individual public schools or districts requiring teachers to get vaccinated as a condition of employment.” Good. No government entity should require anyone, employee or not, to get the Covid jab. Three cheers for Governor DeSantis. Why would a libertarian think otherwise?

I am waiting for these CDC libertarians to name Dr. Fauci libertarian of the year. But of course, they hate Trump, one of the greatest proponents of the vaccine they so love.

What happens when rulers force all restaurants, bars, grocery-stores, museums, delis, sports, theaters, hospitals—in short, the entire public sphere—to prohibit the unJabbed from entering? And when they also compel workers at these venues to submit to their monstrous experiment as a condition of employment? 

Look to France for the answer:

All the low paid employees quit, they can make more on welfare here. (for now) We can still technically “get take out food” but I just tried last night and every restaurant in our town (that is dine in with take out) has closed their doors due to the lack of staff. … [Medical personnel] took to the streets by the millions and now all the hospitals just lost another 50% of staff capacity. My doctor just went into early retirement (a.k.a. he quit) and I have yet to find a replacement. … Aug 15th Truckers will be going on strike nation wide; Blocking all access roads in and out of Paris.

Yesterday an entire airport in Northern France closed due to the majority of staff quitting.

One of Canada’s recent martyrs, Tim Stephens, lists the reasons that faithful Christians who truly love the Lord rather than Leviathan will oppose mandatory Jabs:

Last year we heard over and over again from Christian leaders the need to follow the government mandates surrounding COVID (like masks, restrictions on gatherings, travel, etc) because this is what it means to love our neighbor, obey Romans 13, and be a good witness for Jesus. I’m not sure if we’ll hear the same refrain again or not, but let’s look at those categories in light of mandatory vaccinations.

Love For Neighbor (Matthew 22:39)

If you love your neighbor, you will oppose mandatory vaccines! You will oppose mandatory vaccines to qualify for jobs or to keep a job. You will oppose mandatory vaccines for travel, for commerce, or to access any service. Why? When we love our neighbor we respect what belongs to them.

God has given us commands not to steal or covet our neighbor’s wife or possessions. Why? Because those things belong to him. They are a stewardship given by God. Personal property, children, or means of income are not to be violated, destroyed, or taken. To uphold justice is to uphold a person’s lawful right to their property and possessions. In an increasingly unbiblical society that rejects this notion, we should advocate that our neighbors have, and to continue to have, what is theirs. And even more important than protecting property is protecting life, safety, health, and choices surround such matters.

Mandatory vaccines will hurt our neighbors. They will prevent travel, prevent continuing a career, or prevent informed medical choice as our neighbors are coerced into compliance. Mandatory vaccines will hurt our neighbors since this will further divide families, communities, and our country. This will create a two class society, a social credit score, further censorship of doctors or scientists, and further challenges to conscientious objectors. Does not loving our neighbor demand we stand against such harms brought against them?

Obeying Romans 13

If you believe Romans 13, you will oppose mandatory vaccines. This may seem counter-intuitive since we’ve repeatedly heard Romans 13 used to justify obeying our authorities—even as they restrict and regulate the corporate worship of Christ’s bride. If you believe Romans 13, you will see that our governing authorities have gone beyond the mandate of public justice that we see in verse 4, “For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” The government is using the power of the sword—intended to punish the wrongdoer—to punish those who do not agree with being injected with a medical treatment that has received emergency approval for a disease with very little risk for most people.

If we honor our authorities, honor their role under God, and honor our democratic system in which the government rules by the permission of the people, we will tell them plainly that they have crossed the line once again.

Did the prophets not love God, the king of Israel, and the people by warning the king of his folly? Were the prophets schismatics or rebellious traitors as they called the king to his rightful duty? Did John the Baptist not do what was loving for Herod by caring enough for his soul to call out his sin? Will the church stand united to love our governing authorities by telling them they have gone beyond their mandate and are taking the place of God by seeking to bind the conscience of the people? Will we pray, stand, and call them to repentance, not only for their unjust laws, but for their sin before God to whom they will give an account? Who will be the conscience of the nation, and the voice of truth if not for the church?

 A Good Witness (Luke 21:12–13)

We’ve seen over the past eighteen months that a good witness is not synonymous with a good reputation. It has often been assumed that if the world appreciates you, you have been a good witness for Jesus. After all, if they like you they may like Jesus too. We must surely reject such notions of witness or testimony.

In Luke 21:13, after being persecuted and handed over to the courts for acting in loyalty to Jesus and his word, it says, “This will be your opportunity to bear witness.” It is the contrast of God’s righteousness to the world’s evil that brings opportunity to bear witness.

If you desire to be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ and the gospel, you will oppose mandatory vaccines. You will oppose it because it is contrary to God’s design and boundaries he has established for human governments. By so doing, you will endure the hatred of the world. “This will be your opportunity to bear witness” (Luke 21:13). We will confess that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings. We will explain how he is the only lord of the conscience and that he has given authority to the family and individuals in this regard that do not belong to the state. We will explain that we will render to Caesar what is Caesar’s but our bodies belong to the Lord.

By defending the right of the business owner, the medical choices of a family, or the travel of individuals, we bear witness that it is God who is sovereign, not the governments of men. We bear witness that we have freedom because there is a higher law that holds everyone to account. And through this, we will bear witness to the supremacy of Christ, the beauty of the gospel, and the truthfulness of his word.

Conclusion

May God grant us unity as the body of Christ to stand for truth, love our neighbor, respectfully direct the government to its duty, and bear witness of the greatness of Christ in this cultural moment.

“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice” (Proverbs 21:1–3).

The collapse of the American-backed state in Afghanistan brings home the wisdom of Murray Rothbard’s essay “The Death of a State,” written in July 1975.  The lessons that Rothbard drew from the fall of South Vietnam apply equally to the present crisis. Among these were the importance of guerilla warfare, the dependence of all states on majority support, and the blow to U.S. imperialism with its false doctrine that “the United States has the moral duty, and the permanent power, to install, prop up, and rule governments and peoples throughout the world. We are being forced into a policy of ‘neo-isolationism,’ unfortunately not through the adoption of moral principle, but through the concrete realization that imperialism is no longer realistically viable.” We should follow Rothbard’s advice and end all American overseas military commitments.

Many of you offered theories as to why “233” appears so frequently in reports of COVIDCon’s alleged casualties. But Don McFadden, a “retired CPA/MBA,” observes, 

The apparent anomaly of the repeating news of 233 new cases of Covid appears to be a reflection of the obsessive reporting of the PCR tests results (i.e. the fake cases). If you run other numbers through a search engine (preferably not Google), you will find many hits on those as well. The real conspiracy is the use of high cycle thresholds on the PCR tests and then calling them “cases” as if they were diagnosed with the disease.

And the conspiracy inspiring that conspiracy is totalitarianism.

MONTEREY — The Highland County School Board voted to defy Governor Ralph Northam’s public health order on Thursday night.

After a contentious meeting that lasted more than three hours, board chairman Kenny Hodges made a motion not to accept the COVID-19 mitigation policy proposed by superintendent Dr. Tom Schott and instead make masks in school optional with a letter sent to parents to state their choice for their children.

There’s a novel concept!

Hodges and school board member Sherry Sullenberger discussed their concerns with masks and parental choice and potential legal liability for the school and the board for each option.

“I truly have a problem with masks,” Hodges said. “I have a problem with the masks, but I know this puts Dr. Schott in an awkward position because it’s a law.”

Many people in the audience shouted, saying masks were only a recommendation.

What an astute group!

Thursday afternoon, Gov. Northam announced a Public Health Emergency Order requiring universal masking in all indoor settings in Virginia’s K-12 schools for all students, teachers, staff, and visitors ages two and up. The order reinforces current state law, which requires Virginia schools to adhere to mitigation strategies outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. …

Sheriff David Neil spoke up, recommending the school board not require masks. “I hope you all vote your conscience and  not what the governor’s telling you to do,” Neil said. “These masks things are just a compliance thing … I’d like to see people in Highland county take a stand,” Sheriff Neil continued. “Let them take us to court.”

Whoa! No doubt a member of CSPOA!

“Who’s liable if we go against the department of health recommendations and the governor’s recommendation?” board member Joe Neil asked. “Who is going to get sued? It is the board who gets sued.”

Neil responded that he was advised by the commonwealth’s attorney, Melissa Dowd. “If I’m scared of getting sued, I should go home.”

Joe Neil replied he was thinking of going home. Several people in the audience shouted for him to resign.

Good advice, Neil. Take it.

Several people spoke out against masks and demanded a decision from the board so they could make alternate education plans if masks were mandated.

“We could be losing students,” Sullenberger said, and many people shouted, “Yes.”

Some people shouted questions, asking if masks would still be required on buses, which is a federal order.

“Are we going to buck federal, too?” Sullenberger asked, but no motion was made addressing masks on buses. …

Hodges declared the motion to make masks optional with a letter to parents passed.

“Graveyard of Empires” Claims Another Victim, by James Corbett

So what’s really happening in Afghanistan?

The simplest answer to that question might be: Nothing unexpected. After all, the country is called “The Graveyard of Empires” for a reason.

First, the history lesson: Situated on the main land route between Iran, Central Asia and India, Afghanistan has for millennia been recognized as a key square on the geopolitical chess board. The country has been subject to periodic invasions and conquests by various civilizations—the Macedonians, the Mauryans, the Greco-Bactrians, the Indo-Scythians, the Mongols, etc.—for thousands of years. In fact, control of Afghanistan continues to be recognized as the strategic lynchpin of any would-be world empire in the modern age, with Zbigniew Brzezinski having defined the “Eurasian Balkans” in which Afghanistan sits as the pivot point of global geopolitics for the 21st century.

In the 19th century, Britain came to see Afghanistan as a valuable buffer between the Russians and the crown jewel of the British Empire: India. This led to a century-long covert proxy war for control over the country known to history as The Great Game and resulted in not one, not two, but three wars between the British Empire and the Emirate of Afghanistan. Spoiler: it didn’t end well for the British.

In the late 20th century, Afghanistan once again became the victim of a dramatic invasion (and a witness to the eventual retreat) of a major world superpower. This time, it was the Soviet Union’s turn to fail to subdue the notoriously ungovernable country, drawn in by America’s campaign to stir up “some agitated Muslims” and restore order to a politically turbulent country. Ten years later—after the CIA had engaged in the largest (acknowledged) covert operation in history and overseen the birth of Al CIAda in their attempt to “bleed” the mighty Soviet Empire to death—the CCCP’s mighty army was marching back to Moscow with their tails between their legs.

Now it’s America’s turn to suffer the same fate. Almost exactly 20 years after rolling into the country (for completely fictitious reasons and on completely spurious grounds), they are now exiting the country in disgrace. And so, from a purely historical perspective, we can say that this chaotic ending to the American Empire’s Afghanistan adventure is not unexpected.

We have to understand that Afghanistan was invaded for a number of overlapping geostrategic, military and economic reasons. In no particular order, these reasons include:

• securing a key transportation corridor from rich Caspian Sea oil and gas reserves;
• gaining access to a trillion dollars of untapped mineral wealth in the country;
• protecting the poppy crop, which the Taliban nearly eradicated under its rule and which now produces 85% of the world’s opium; and
• providing a military foothold in a chaotic and—with the rise of China’s Belt-and-Road Initiative—increasingly strategic area.

All of which makes this “withdrawal” all the more puzzling. Why is Biden pulling out at all? All of the geostrategic and economic imperatives that prompted the invasion 20 years ago are still in play today; in fact, given China’s growing influence in the Central Asian region, it’s arguably even more important for America to have a military deployment on their doorstep than it was in 2001.

It is being reported that the Taliban will soon declare the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. I have said for years and years that every U.S. soldier who died in Afghanistan died in vain. I rest my case.

Instead of having U.S. troops just get out of Afghanistan, Biden is sending 5,000 more troops to help the thousands there to get out. As I have said from the beginning of the war in Afghanistan: Just get out! Walk away, fly away, drive away, sail away—just get out. How many more troops will have to be sent to help the 5,000 to get out?
