Who Needs ISIS When We’ve Got the Feds?

The NSA’s director, Mike Rogers, claims that ISIS “wants to break America’s will … ‘They believe we are inherently weak, that we can’t stand the pressure,’ Rogers said. “[ISIS] believes if they contest our ability to lead normal lives … they will break our will.’”

You gotta hand it to the bad guys: that’s one determined group. Of course, all the money the Feds hand ’em might account for some of that dedication. But still, ISIS’s ranks are pretty small for such an outsized ambition as “breaking the will” of 325 million people: the US State Department figures the terrorists’ numbers at less than 25,000  (“ISLAMIC STATE OF IRAQ AND SYRIA (ISIS) … Estimates suggest between 12,000 and 15,000 members” plus affiliate “ISLAMIC STATE’S KHORASAN PROVINCE … Approximately 1,500 to 2,000” plus another affiliate, “ISIL-LIBYA … In early 2016, ISIL-Libya was reported to have 6,000 members…”).

Naw, if anyone’s gonna break our will, it’s our own government…oh, wait. It already did.
